We have been committed to reducing waste for a number of years and are aiming to go paperless. This means limiting the number of printers and digitising workflows. We sort waste from our staff restaurant, and we treat other waste locally: cardboard is compacted by Veolia and recycled in local paper mills; non-hazardous industrial waste (NIW) is incinerated to generate energy; plastics are reused in industrial processes; and organic waste is processed locally through anaerobic digestion.
